Family Involvement

We greatly appreciate any assistance parents are willing to offer towards the organisation and operation of our choir.  This helps us to keep fees to a minimum for all families.  It also contributes towards the sense of “belonging” that we hope each of the children will experience.  Please note, we do not demand any minimum level of contribution, as every family has different circumstances.  But, if you are willing and able (or just even willing—we can train you!)  we will welcome you with open arms.

Some areas where families may be able to assist include

Committee of Management ~ President, Treasurer, Secretary, General members with responsibility for choir administration, enrolments, publicity, fundraising, uniforms, music library and archives

Rehearsal Assistants ~ Help to open up and lock up the rehearsal building, distribute notices, receive payments and write receipts. 

Fundraising /Sponsorship ~ Suggestions are always welcome!
You can volunteer to run one or several fundraising campaigns per year.

Performance Assistants ~ Supervise children, front of house, stage management, sound and lighting, organise supper!

Working Bees ~ Usually held during school holidays to update music folders, organise the music library, stocktake uniforms and general administration.
